2. Why we collect data
We collect data to enable the following aspects of our business operations:
- Get in touch
In order to contact our customers, we need to have certain details. You provide these details via our contact form on the website, by handing us your business card, or by emailing us. We use this information to collect details such as your name, email address, telephone number and job title. - Mailing / Newsletter
For our email newsletters, we collect your first name, surname, email address, job title and gender. When you receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe via a link in the email. - Website improvement
We use Google Analytics to collect your data anonymously. This includes information such as the duration of your visit to our website or the pages you visit most frequently. We use this data to optimise our website and further improve our services.
All data will only be processed with your explicit consent, or used for the purpose of fulfilling the agreements entered into, or because processing is necessary to put you in touch with potential contacts and/or contractors.
3. What personal data we collect
Personal data refers to data that can be used to identify you as an individual. Anonymised data is excluded from this.

The newsletters are sent via Mailchimp. When you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address and first name are automatically saved in the relevant list within Mailchimp.

We do not collect any sensitive personal data about you. This includes, for example, information relating to race, religion or health.
Services
Where we process our client’s personal data in the course of providing our services, our client’s privacy policy applies. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, data processing is not included within the scope of our assignment.
Client details
Where, in the course of providing our services, client data is stored on our systems, this data will be deleted from our systems upon completion of the activity or project, or at the client’s request. This data will not be disclosed to third parties, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
Co-makers
Where third parties are involved in the provision of our services, they operate in accordance with our privacy policy.
4. How and for how long we store data
B4B operates both digitally and on paper. Documents are carefully stored and destroyed after use. There are no paper files containing personal data.
The systems we use are:
- Email contact details
We use Microsoft Office 365; the data stored therein is retained indefinitely. - Google Analytics
The data collected by Google Analytics from the website is anonymous, meaning it is not linked to your name, company or email address. This data is stored indefinitely within Google Analytics. - Newsletters
We use Mailchimp; the data is retained indefinitely. - Microsoft Sharepoint / OneDrive / Office365
We use Microsoft’s SharePoint, OneDrive and Office 365 to carry out our projects. The aforementioned project-related data is stored in these systems. The data is retained indefinitely.
5. What your rights are
Your data belongs to you and will always remain yours. For the sake of completeness, here is a brief summary of your rights:
- Access
You have the right to request access to your data held by B4B at any time. You can do this by sending an email or contacting B4B by telephone. You will then receive a summary of your data. - Correction
Is your information incorrect? Or has it changed? You have the right to ask B4B to correct it. You can do this by sending an email or contacting B4B by phone. You can update your newsletter preferences via the link provided at the bottom of every email. - Transfer
If you wish to transfer the data stored by B4B in the event that you switch to another provider or service, you have the right to data portability. In this case, B4B is obliged to transfer all your data to the other party. You can do this by sending an email or contacting B4B by telephone. - Deletion of data
If you no longer wish for your data to be stored by B4B, you have the right to have your data erased. You can do this by sending an email or contacting B4B by telephone. - Submitting a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you believe that B4B is not handling your data correctly. - Stop data usage
If you do not want B4B to use your data, you have the right to request that B4B stops using your personal data. You can do this by sending an email or contacting B4B by telephone.
6. What our duties are
B4B processes personal data on the basis of a legitimate interest, namely a commercial interest. We collect data for the purpose of selling our services. We do not sell information to third parties.
Should we be asked to share your personal data with third parties, we will first seek your written consent before proceeding with such data sharing.
